Inwent works together with people in key positions worldwide. We qualify and link experts and executives and decision makers from politics, the business sector and civil society, providing support as they shape operational, organisational and political processes of change. Capacity building is the term we have selected to best describe our understanding of strategic human resource development.
Capacity building involves the transmission of decision-making skills and knowledge. This know-how is then further passed on and multiplies. We work with experts and executives who assume responsibility on a national and international level. Our practice-oriented programmes are designed to strengthen the decision-making skills of individuals. After all, only people can effect processes of change.
Inwent works on increasing the productivity of companies, organisations and administrations. To this end we develop concepts with our partners custom-tailored to best suit each individual situation. Our programmes have fundamental and long-lasting effects. Participants carry their newly acquired skills and experience into their organisations, chambers and companies, into regional and supraregional institutions. They transport their knowledge and know-how to those places where processes of change can be initiated.
Structural changes can only be effected over the long-term, however, if the necessary basic conditions are present. Our dialogue and advancing training programmes bring political actors, experts and representatives from the business community and civil society to the table together. This provides an informal setting where widely differing positions and possible solutions for international problems can be discussed.
Capacity building is an integral part of international cooperation. It is an important factor in structuring the process of globalisation fairly. Inwent employs a wide variety of instruments in its programmes and work closely with our partners to select the most appropriate for each individual situation. We offer human resource development consulting and advanced trainings seminars, and encourage dialogue and networking among participants.
