Inwent’s human resources policy is strongly influenced by our company mission statement and the corporate culture defined therein: "Our corporate culture is characterised by the drive toward innovation, interculturalism and continued learning. Our employees, their dedication and experience, are what guarantee the success of our company." Inwent is well aware of its responsibility toward its employees. This awareness is reflected in the numerous opportunities we offer all our employees.
Working for Inwent is interesting, challenging and rewarding. Your responsibilities will both demand and develop your performance, initiative, creativity and intercultural skills. Actively participate in the continuing development of the company, its products and relationships with customers and clients in a team-oriented environment. We interact with shared respect and tolerance.
At Inwent you will work in an international setting with people from many different nations. Cooperation with international groups of participants, delegations and institutions in both Germany and in participating countries will be a key aspect of your new responsibilities.
In addition to remuneration in accordance with the public sector collective wage agreement (TVöD), which includes performance-related pay introduced in 2007 to reward the individual performance of every employee, Inwent also provides excellent and extensive company benefits. These include a company pension plan, workers’ asset formation funds, and an annual bonus in November of each year.
Human resource development is an integral part of Inwent’s personnel policy. We offer an extensive in-house advanced training programme that addresses topics such as leadership, management skills, social/personal skills and method/advisory skills. Specific advanced training needs are met by external seminars offered by renowned training institutes. Individual programmes are developed for both departments and teams and individual employees. You can also take advantage of educational leave.
Helping employees balance a family and a career is important to Inwent. Our modern and flexible working hours help staff achieve optimal work-life balance. Inwent offers part-time positions and telework programmes that allow you to carry out some of your duties from home. We provide childcare assistance to all employees with children under the age of three and a parent-child office is available. Employees involved in the care of elderly parents at home can reduce their working hours or take special leave.
Inwent is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to ensuring that all our employees are treated equally and fairly. Our gender equality representative, their deputies, and ombudswomen at many offices assist us in achieving this goal. Inwent particularly encourages the placement of women in executive positions. We also give equally-qualified applicants with recognised handicaps preferential treatment when filling open positions. Inwent’s severely disabled representative guarantees that the interests of severely disabled applicants and Inwent employees are represented.
The atmosphere at Inwent is international. You always have the feeling that you are in contact with many different corners of the world. This, combined with open and helpful colleagues, creates an exciting and motivating working environment.

As a new staff member at Inwent, what I really like is the way my colleges interact as a team. They are always behind me, ready to help when I need advise. I appreciate the way my supervisors are ready to listen to my questions and ideas – this increases the efficiency of my work.
