Successfully mastering globalisation is a challenge that also faces people in industrialised countries. They must learn from one another, gather international experience and develop intercultural decision-making skills. Inwent’s Industrialised and Transition Countries department offers experts and executives a wide range of international capacity building and practical training programmes.

Inwent’s capacity building programmes include international work placements, study abroad programmes and training seminars for participants from

  • Germany and other industrialised nations,
  • Transition countries in Central and Eastern Europe,
  • The former states of the Soviet Union,
  • The Mediterranean and Middle East,
  • Central Asia and
  • Countries in the Maghreb region.
Inwent advises interested parties on questions of international human resource development and foreign cultural policy. The international professional mobility and decision-making skills of experts and executives have become a decisive factor for innovation. Inwent provides participants with the qualifications they need to take successful action in foreign cultures and societies. Firms active at home and abroad work closely with us, putting work placement positions, scholarships, instructors and contact persons at our disposal.

The department is commissioned by a range of federal ministries, European and international organisations, foundations, and economic organisations. It comprises six divisions:
  • America (Bonn)
  • Asia, Pacific; Special Programmes Worldwide; Foundations (Bonn)
  • International Mobility in Vocational Education and Training (Bonn)
