Experts and executive must have the skills they need to act on the international stage. This applies in particular to employees of organisations and firms with international operations. The Training Centre for Development Cooperation (V-EZ) promotes international decision-making skills, those qualities that enable people to work successfully in foreign cultures and with partners from different cultural backgrounds. InWEnt cooperates with its institutional partners, the German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) and the German Development Service (DED), to fulfil this need.
The V-EZ prepares people to go abroad and for international activities. As such it promotes a sense of partnership in development cooperation, which we custom-tailor to suit the needs of our partner countries and their people. Around 40 organisational and placement institutions currently take advantage of the V-EZ’s range. Every year more than 1,500 managers and their families take part in our seminars.
Our seminars are very close to reality: Interactive and experience-oriented learning are our highest priorities, which is why participants work in groups whenever possible. Our goal is not to simply expand on existing knowledge and skills: Our participants also reflect on their personal approach and behaviours, learning from these to prepare them to work or study abroad. As well as learning in groups and teams, participants expand their knowledge in independent study. We offer a comprehensive media centre and a well-equipped independent study centre with advisors to assist them in this.
The department comprises the following divisions:
