People are central to all that we do: Programme participants, their employers and other clients and cooperation partners are at the core of our work. We design our programmes to fulfil their specific needs.
Inwent works towards one key objective at home and abroad: promoting the skills of decision-makers and executives who introduce and implement reforms in their home countries. The quality and success of our advanced training programmes is ultimately reflected by their effectiveness. This is why we incorporate methods to assess the impact of our work as early as the planning stage.
Global sustainable development is the ideal we pursue at Inwent. Its hallmarks are economic efficiency, social justice, ecological vigour and political responsibility.
Sustainable development is not just the basis and objective of our programmes. It is also the foundation of the four dimensions of our in-house policy: Successful management – social dedication – protection of the environment – continued learning.
Inwent defines itself as an organisation of learning. We apply the “Quality as Process” (QaP) quality management system developed by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) to ensure that we fulfil our own high expectations. Quality management helps us involve the entire company in the learning and development process. We promote learning at an individual and team level, a process that initiates change within our own institution as well.
Our quality management system provides feedback about the effectiveness of all we do. We employ self-assessment, external observation, assessment and verification procedures as effective tools to assess our productivity. Inwent has designed its own planning, monitoring and evaluation system for programmes (PriME). We also regularly survey employees, participants, and project partners to ensure that we are aware of the strengths and weaknesses we face in our development. All these measures ensure that the experience drawn from our work, both positive and negative, is considered when we update strategies or quality policy. Benchmarking with other organisations is another guarantee of consistent and sustainable quality assurance.

Inwent has been SQS-certified by the Swiss Union for Quality and Management Systems. The certification process verifies that Inwent meets the standards of the European Foundation for Quality Management for company and human resources management and for processes and standards.
