| EF in brief The objective of the Development Policy Forum is to promote political dialogue within the framework of multilateral and bilateral development cooperation. The Forum provides an opportunity to talk informally, free from the pressure to make decisions and from direct political constraints. The target groups are national decision-makers, members of bilateral and multilateral organizations, and scientists. The Forum also addresses members of international commissions, representatives of industry and commerce, as well as other sectors of public life. The priority work areas result from the development objectives of the German Federal Government and from the current issues of international development cooperation, and also particularly from a close partnership with the United Nations, the World Bank, the OECD, the European Union, and nongovernmental organizations. The Forum has its seat in Berlin.
