Societal change is a complex process in which individuals in various roles and organisations attempt to make their working and living conditions efficient and effective. Capacity building allows them to develop the capacities they need in order to achieve their own objectives. To ensure broad impact and structure-building effects, InWEnt is active on three levels:
Participation is at once the precondition for and the aim of our approach. We identify relevant actors within change and reform processes, analyse with them the challenges involved and develop solutions together, taking into account the specific needs and timeframe of our partners.
We support participants, helping them realise their own visions and shape the future of their countries – in the fields of politics, business and civil society. We concentrate on training multipliers.
Capacity building helps realise international agreements to support sustainable development and reduce poverty, and is an integral part of international cooperation.
