The training course aims at business and economic writers of daily newspapers from the following countries:
Ghana, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
The course participants should learn
to understand the factors that determine the national and international economy
to understand and analyse economic problems
to write understandable and factually correct articles about economies, finance and business.

Essential statistics
The logic of accounting
Reporting companies
Reporting markets
The functioning of the national economy
The international financial system
The world trade system
The global economy: crisis and outlook
Admission requirements: Applicants have to:
have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience
have experience on an electronic editorial system
be proficient in English (the course and all exercises will be conducted in English)
be under 35 year old
