The training course aims at business and economic writers of daily newspapers from the following countries:
Ghana, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
The course participants should learn
- to understand the factors that determine the national and international economy
- to understand and analyse economic problems
- to write understandable and factually correct articles about economies, finance and business.

- Business news writing
- Essential statistics
- The logic of accounting
- Reporting companies
- Reporting markets
- The functioning of the national economy
- The international financial system
- The world trade system
- The global economy: crisis and outlook
Admission requirements:
Applicants have to:
- have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience
- have experience on an electronic editorial system
- be proficient in English (the course and all exercises will be conducted in English)
- be under 35 year old
