The programme is open to journalists from newspapers, magazines, news agencies and pure online publications. Preference is given to applicants who work for online editions or who are to take up such work in the near future.
The course is open to candidates from the following countries:
Afghanistan, India, Jordan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, Zimbabwe.
Admission requirements: Applicants have to
have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
have a strong interest in the Internet in general and in online journalism in particular
have good computer skills
be proficient in English (the course and all exercises will be conducted in English)
be not older than 35 years
