Administration

This Department is a central and inter-departmental service provider for InWEnt, and acts as a steering instrument for the management. Its overarching task over the next few years will continue to be to centralize administrative tasks, thus generating greater synergy and cutting costs.

To help it perform its functions, the department has at its disposal the following divisions:

  • Human Resources

    The Division Human Resources is responsible for recruitment, human resources development including training, supervision and back-up services for staff members, and salaries.

  • Organisation

    Alongside budget law, resources management and the economic plan, this division is responsible for directing structural organization and procedures as well as dealing with legal issues, mainly in the fields of labor and civil law.

  • Accounting, Payments and Travel Agency

    This division ensures that the principles of correct accounting practices are respected and implemented. It deals with all questions pertaining to fiscal law and insurance. In addition to this, the division handles all issues pertaining to travel bookings and the settlement of travel expenses.

  • Infrastructure

    This division is responsible for facility management, procurement and materials management. It also provides services and ensures safety at work within the organization.

  • Information Technology

    It falls to this division to network the organization on the basis or hardware and software components, to ensure the operation of the system within Germany, to develop and provide back-up for new IT application software, and to train users.

  • Project Finances

    This division handles the project financing of clients. It is the contact for issues relating to finance and management of resources, from the planning and costing of projects to the final settlement of accounts. It also provides financial evaluations.

  • Auditing

    Although the Auditing Division is part of the Department in organizational terms, it retains independence in its field as the internal auditing body. It reports directly to the Chief Executive Director.
