Sustainable economic development and global growth presuppose well-trained individuals, competent institutions and common learning processes between industrialized nations, transition states and developing countries. The access to knowledge is increasingly becoming the key to development and growth. Technological know-how, entrepreneurial knowledge and international leadership skills are the central factors in success, be it to achieve the Millennium Development Goals, to shift from a planned economy to a market economy, or to improve the international competitiveness of businesses.
Cooperation with industry inside and outside Germany is thus of strategic importance for InWEnt: 60% of our activities are geared to industry – also with a view to strengthening the international competitiveness of the German and European economies, and to fostering links between foreign executives and Germany. The programs we offer range from courses to prepare experts for assignments abroad, to international practical training for specialists and executives and specific measures to establish business contacts, to helping businesses recruit internationally qualified staff. InWEnt can rely on a worldwide network of partners in the fields of politics, industry and civil society in this work.
To coordinate the wide range of services for and inter-relations with industry inside and outside Germany, InWEnt has set up a "Round Table for Industry".
